I started my journalism career as an intern in Texas, writing for a family-owned paper in the Bible Belt right outside Austin. After graduating from the University of Texas in 2000, I moved to the Bay Area and began working full-time as a crime reporter. Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked at various publications in the Bay Area, covering everything from hate crimes and homicides, to Mayor Gavin Newsom, the Hells Angels, commuter health, and all things weird in San Francisco.
I am a now a nosy journalist-turned content marketer and a storyteller at heart. I’m currently the Sr. Manager of Content Marketing for Salesforce where I write, edit, and lead our content strategy. I’m also learning a lot about how Snapchat isn’t just for kids.
